Makers Monday: Claire

Dear Friends,

Meet Claire!!  We first crossed paths at the Barn Sale in 2012 where she had the most beautiful booth with her signature wooden jewelry and accessories.  I picked my first ClarissaB necklace and found a lovely new friend.  I was so glad that we we re-connected after the shop moved to 117 S Main St and Claire and her designs joined our shop-mmunity.

Fast forward to last weekend when we met halfway in Charlottesville to have a friend afternoon --- it started at Anthro and ended with a chat over a pastry (Claire!) and vanilla macarons (me!).  I ended up back in Harrisonburg with a full heart, tummy, and a car full of summery ClarissaB for the store!

While we shopped and talked, I asked Claire a few questions about her business and what inspires her when she designs and creates.  She has such a great eye for colors and textures, which is reinforced by her background in art education and an Interior Design degree from VCU.
